Notes on A Women's Ability to Choose.
As a woman, there's been an intentional sabotaged to discredit me. Still in 2021, I am not able to access indigenous alternative medicine that is from my culture without being physically and psychologically assaulted. The situations that have been organized to make my life unsafe are from members of a specific political party that are biased to one type of medicine. Colonialist medicine should not be enforced especially when your community or the people around you is brainwashed and influenced by self-interest groups.
How many of us who find ganja healing for emotional or physical injury have barriers placed on their choice of healthcare.
1)Much of it is from our culture. There is a push to censor and stigmatize alternative medicine by media. The platform for authority that influence those who have been colonized by colonialist medicine such as television do not provide the education for people to understand how ganja is a medicine and not just a recreational drug.
2) In the meantime, woman especially young women of colour are placed in high-risk situations that take away their human rights when they choose to use medicinal ganja. This allows society to build various possibilities for political abuse of psychiatry.
3) Due to lack of information out there, those around you can develop narrative that keeps you from accessing your medicine that is needed to cure physical ailments like side effects from a concussion, or in a meditation practice that brings back awareness, helps you heal your mind.
4) However all that can be taken away if people who are intentionally brainwashed by religious groups, colonialist medicine, media and culture who treats this medicine as just a"drug."
Who will teach our community if you discredit a journalist.
